The Full Story

Statesman Group is a company built on the success and passion from our Director; Trent Wheadon. 

Trent is committed to customer service and success.  Statesman Group can assist clients with a variety

of tasks, helping build reality from dreams. 

Trent started his career in Construction, having obtained a Diploma of Building Design and Drafting.

Initially, his experience grew from working within the steel supply market, and a passion for customer

service was built, Trent soon found himself working with a diverse range of clients with market leader;

Stratco.  Working through the Goldfields of Western Australia, Trent took the opportunity to broaden

his scope as the State Retail Operations Manager for Stratco, operating 9 stores throughout WA,

helping build a successful retail hardware business.  Trent's number one passion is his family, so when

wife Elise fell pregnant, the decision to be together in Kalgoorlie was an easy one, and so,

Statesman Group was formed. 

Initially servicing the Home Improvement market, Statesman Group grew into Project Management within the Insurance market.  Working with various builders to service the region, his passion for continual improvement arose and Trent studied whilst working, to graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce, Business Law and Marketing in 2021.  Trent also holds a Diploma of Building and Construction (2021) and is actively working towards his Builders Registration.   Now, placing all these skills together, Statesman Group manages construction projects, retail fitouts and maintenance contracts.  The business is growing its portfolio and job size, given the high attention to detail, and quality, provided by Statesman Group.   

Trent and Elise have called Kalgoorlie Boulder home for 17 years, together they have made a home for themselves and 3 children; Lachlan, Lily and Isabella.   Elise is a qualified Pharmacist and together they are the Proprietors of 4 Pharmacies located in Kalgoorlie Boulder.  This experience together has helped forge a strong team who work together in all facets of their lives, providing an absolute advantage to one another personally and professionally.
